Fine art, Creations & Collectables
Craftsmanship has a rich history across cultures and centuries, with individuals honing their skills to create objects of beauty and function. Today's fast-paced society makes turning to ready-made, cheaper items easy but runs the risk of us abandoning our heritage. After years of honing his skills, Ron became a craftsman, rooted in his dedication to mastering techniques and pursuing perfection. He believes in carrying on the traditions of true artisans who have played a vital role in shaping society. Becoming a craftsman is a testament to the enduring value of skill, passion, and the timeless art of creation. Ron met Jess and became further inspired by her creativity. Their mutual appreciation and fascination for all things historical led to their natural evolution to team up and refurbish antique and vintage furniture.
Together, they created the vision that “Artsons” understands the allure of timeless treasures and their potential for transformation. With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to preserving each piece's integrity, they meticulously refurbish furnishings, bringing out their inherent beauty and character. The result is a stunning fusion of old and new, where the rich patina of the past meets the freshness of modern restoration techniques.
Each refurbished piece exudes a sense of history and artistry, ready to grace contemporary spaces with its newfound splendour. At Artsons, you can step into the world of refurbished antique and vintage furniture and celebrate the enduring legacy of these exceptional pieces.
step forward into the past.
defining principles
of our work
we believe in saving the planet.
If everyone made small changes in their behaviour, we could make a huge difference.
If we can reuse something, we will. If we can repurpose a product, we will. If we can keep something from going to the landfill, we will.
as chemical free as possible.
We believe in finding natural ways of doing things.
While there may be easier options, if we can find a less harmful chemical-free option, we will use that alternative.
if we can help people, we will.
Our adventure started out of necessity. We didn’t have tools, supplies, or money for expensive furniture, but we wanted nice things. We had to be clever and learn. Now, we are at the stage where we share our wisdom and sometimes donate our products to worthy causes.
Our work is meaningful.
Both of us, Ron and Jess, take pride in our projects. The work is meticulous. Joinery in new woodwork is refined, and wood feels buttery soft on finished products unless it isn’t supposed to be. The fine art is vibrant, expressive and often playful. Most of the projects are a team effort, and you will sense the playfulness that exudes from Ron and Jess.
